  • Definition of Volocopter standards for technical documentation, including consideration of electronic flight bags
  • Consolidation of information and generation of Instructions for Continued Airworthiness
  • Editing of technical documentation, engineering, and compliance reports
  • Consolidation and editing of compliance documentation generated within the Office of Airworthiness
  • Maintenance of documentation guidelines within Volocopter Design Organization
  • Coordination of translations and managing of data submissions with Aviation Authorities
  • Ensuring availability of up-to-date technical documentation, requirements and standards issued by Authorities, standardization and other bodies


  • Masters degree (or equivalent) in aviation (or related discipline)
  • 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer
  • Knowledge of the applicable requirements to Type Certification of products (EASA Part-21) through previous active involvement in EASA Certification projects
  • Fluent English in reading, writing, and speaking
  • Thorough knowledge of simplified English
  • Fluent in generating templates and forms using standard Microsoft Office products
  • Familiar with PLM and document management systems
