Company Description

We at Volocopter are pioneers in the development of electrical air taxis that take off and land vertically (eVTOLs). We bring Urban Air Mobility to life, by establishing air taxis in addition to current transportation options in megacities globally. Our aim is to offer affordable on-demand air taxi services and save people time by flying them safely to their destination. Job Description

Your Tasks:

Administration & System Support:

• Hardware and software installation
• Update and patch management
• Windows and Linux Server Administration
• Support of the network infrastructure
• Monitoring via monitoring system
• Logfile Analysis

Helpdesk & Support:

• Answering and processing personal, telephone and written enquiries from users
• Ticket Processing & Dispatching (web-based and via e-mail)
• Help for users in dealing with operating system and applications
• Preparation of technical documentation and user manuals
• Support in IT administration and ordering
• Hardware acquisition and inventory

Qualifications

• Relevant sound professional experience
• Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience in dealing with different development environments (Git, Jenkins ..., etc.)
• Sound knowledge of network technology (HP Enterprise / Aruba Management)
• Scripting Skills Linux & Windows (Bash, Python, Power Shell, ...)
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure AD
• Communicative team player, organisational and implementation skills, customer orientation
• Responsible, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good knowledge of German and English, written and spoken

• Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
  • Software distribution (Baramundi)
  • Backup (Veeam)
  • Document Management (FMS)
  • ERP (Business Central)
  • Ticket System (Request Tracker)
  • Monitoring (Zabbix)
  • Mailing list server (Sympa)
  • Cloud File Sharing (NetxtCloud)
  • Firewall (Sophos)
  • PLM (Windchill)
  • RTM / ALM (Integrity)
