With an advancing digital transformation, and an increasingly interconnected world, the risk of becoming the target of a cyber-attack increases tremendously. This increasing digitization is also happening in the energy sector, where a smarter energy system allows consumers to better benefit from innovative energy services, but at the same time, creates significant risks, as it leads to increased exposure to cyber-attacks and cyber security incidents. This can jeopardize the security of energy supply and the privacy of consumer data.
Cybersecurity and related challenges are evolving rapidly. For this, this event, jointly organized by the Economic and Trade Mission at the Israeli General Consulate in Munich, the CyberForum and Digital Hub for Applied AI Karlsruhe in Germany, aims at discussing the current applications of cyber security for critical infrastructure in Germany and Israel. Industry experts and start-ups from both countries will discuss opportunities, challenges, and innovative strengths.
